Our day together

A much needed day together. We hiked out to Point Bridget. It was a beautiful view. On our way home a bear galloped across the rode in front of us. It was pretty cool. Bob had just said "keep an eye out for bear" and there it went in front of us. No picture, it moved to fast (and the camera was in the bed of the truck, Bob). MJ

These pics are GREAT!
Molly, what is that in the water to your left?
Bob, is that ET over your shoulder?
I got the one with the bird...but I want to check the name: is that bird called "beautiful colorful bird who lives in scruffy tree"?
Looks like you had a wonderful time!

A rock.
His fishing pole.
We don't know what kind of bird it was. Most all the trees look that way, fungus.

Molly- I like you casual you sound when you say: "a bear galloped" You didn't freak out? I would have been on a dead run! I hope it was a bleak bear and not a grizzly bear :)

We were in the truck driving, so not so scary. Plus, he was on the move, not worried about us. We think that it was a cinnomon brown, but who knows, they are hard to keep straight.

I was thinking about you last week when a bicyclist 'hit' a bear on his bike. I was laughing so hard thinking of you that tears came to my eyes....
