Oh my goodness, oh my goodness

I rode the bus home tonight from the theater. When I got off the bus I turned to head to our road and what did my eyes spy? A big *** bear crossing the road about 25ft away. I turned up our road and walked quickly up the hill. I didn't look back until I had to cross to our drive. I didn't see the bear so I ran up the stairs and to the front door. Yicks! I am not a fan of being alone at 11:30 pm when that happens. MJ

No lions, no tigers, but BEARs, OH MY! I am glad he did not follow you up the 'yellow brick road'!
And seriously, what did you want after that....a bear hug!
(For me, I still can't speak and I am waiting for my heart rate and blood pressure to return to normal again!)

Wow, that is too close for comfort. You need eyes in the back of your head. I think I would have run back to the bus, Oh no, the bus probably already took off since they are soo used to see bears. How far to the house is it from the bus stop? okay I'm scared for you. Take care. Love , Gram

Yes Gram the bus had already pulled away. Believe me, I turned back towards it when I saw the bear. The bus stop is maybe 50 ft from our road. Then you walk up the mountain to our place.
Yeah well I would like to hear what Mrs. Burt would have had to say about the bear. I believe it was a black bear. A big one.
