I know, I really haven't had that much to say this month. It's odd for me, but it really has been a slow month. Besides work, we haven't been up to all that much. Bob is done working Saturdays as of today. But he still went to work. This time to work on our "old gal". She's been getting some pretty poor gas mileage and needs some attention. I am at Saturday School.
Bob had another check-up on Monday. He is clear for 6 months. He fells pretty good, still gets some stiffness and hasn't regained all of his strength in his right arm, but is still thrilled with the results. If you could have seen him before the surgery, yicks.
I have been busy with the jobs, meetings and I have really been enjoying reading. I used to go home every night and turn on the computer and now, I am picking up a book instead. I just can't seem to get enough and I have a long list that I still want to read before summer comes. Then there will be hiking to be had and no time to read.
Tristan and I did go for another Spa Day on the 21st. That was nice, it felt so good to have 2 days off. I haven't done that in a while. I am hoping to be able to make that happen over the summer.
The rest of the school year will be busy, lots of projects and I tend to stay steady in ISS.
Maybe March will be a little more exciting, but I wouldn't hold my breath. MJ

A summer visitor
It looks like Bob and I will be having a visitor for the summer, nephew Steven. There are still details to be worked out, but the plan is for him to come up and stay with us and work all summer long. He will work with me at the Red Dog Gift Shop as a stocker. Then on our time off, we will show him around. It will be pretty fun for all of us, I hope.
Tristan and I went to Wearable Arts last night. There were so many great entries this year, it was hard to pick just one to vote for. Tristan and I talk each year that we should make an entry. Maybe next year.
It's Sunday and Bob and I are relaxing. That will probably be what we do all day. Ahhh Sundays. MJ

What a drive . . .
This morning we awoke to more snow and some pretty crazy driving conditions. Bob had to slide into a snowbank so that we wouldn't rear end someone or slide into the road. Then an 8 mile drive took us an hour. I am so glad that Bob is back to driving. Yicks!

Let's try this again . . .
So, tonight I booked flights to MI for December. We only went as far as Chicago. We figured by the time you change carriers and fly to DTW we could drive there, so that's the plan. We'll just rent a car at O'Hara and drive in. Hopefully it won't be too nasty out, but even if it is, it's been so long since we have gotten to drive, we'll take it. MJ

Hot Wings
Teriyaki Wings

Deep Dish Pan Pizza

It's just the two of us!!!
